Sideline: CashCrate Is Not A Scam

English: Cashcrate Logo

If you are looking to make money off the Internet, there are a hundred ways to do it. Here’s a few:

  • Paid Online Surveys
  • Pay Per Click (PPC)
  • Affiliate Marketing
  • Blogging
  • Selling eBooks
  • oDesk
  • Fiverr
  • Elance

I do not intend to write about all these at once. I will try to come up with comprehensive entries on each of the item stated above. Meanwhile, let us focus first on paid online surveys, which I am sure you are already familiar about. It has been around for quite some time now and I remember my first attempt with a now-defunct website that promised to pay me in check after hitting the minimum payout of $1000. The gig was pretty easy and the ads to click offer higher rates compared to others. It goes to say that it was easy to hit the minimum payout so it took less than two weeks. Come collection time, there was no response from the management regarding my check so I wrote them and asked why there seems to be no activity. Obviously, no one replied.

I would understand if you would call me foolish, dumb, stupid, or naive because I had been such. Something told me it could be a scam but I thought I should give it a try anyway BUT without expecting too much, meaning I did not really make plans on how to spend my money when I got it.

Since then, I learned to stay away from these campaigns and check for scams if ever I got tempted again. CashCrate is a new name but there was a sense of an old scenario. So far, every time I check for “CashCrate scam” on Google, there would be no result. Maybe, it is going to be worth the try. Yes, I have not filled out a single survey or tried out an offer yet but with the results of my searches, it may really reward your, say, 20 minutes of non-stop clicking. Like I read in an blog, CashCrate will not make you rich but if you want a few dollars building up while you are sleeping, this may be a good means. I know many people are looking for some profit-generating gigs online, make money on the Internet, receive the check, and be able to take their children to Disneyland.

I have this referral link below, which will earn me a few bucks if readers would sign up.

Cracked’s Crack At Internet Marketing

Having been part of the internet marketing culture in the past months, my interest to become a web entrepreneur myself grew considering the rewarding income that websites can generate. Why not? After proving that one does not need a degree to become a cyber mogul, I thought I could profit from it as well. Many people who have no coding or programming experience were able to build an android application from scratch, what more build a website and get it up and running? Add to it the fact that I’m some sort of a writer or am at least involved in the writing industry.

Most web entrepreneurs make six figures from niche websites nowadays. Niche websites are, by the way, websites that focus on one specific topic (i.e. medical, relationships, accounting, etc.). These entrepreneurs write about various topics on a specific subject that they know inside and out, publish them on their personal blog site (did I just put personal and blog together?), generate traffic, solicit advertisements, and collect their profit. It sounds simple but there are many ways to earn from this base.

Currently, I am exploring this avenue so I can successfully conquer the Internet as well. I do not know exactly which topic to focus on and, of course, where to get the money to register my own domain. With WordPress, it is cheap at $18/year but my PayPal account is bankrupt for the moment. 😛

For one, I have a medical background and I know that, being a researcher, people always turn to Google to find quick answers regarding their health concerns. I am also interested in diet methods, nutrition, and health issues. My passions, on the other hand, are music, movies, and books so I would also want to produce an entertainment website.

Until I get things in order, you wouldn’t be able to see cracked1979.com or yellapalooza.com. I am still in the process of learning it but I already have some SEO-ish tools for research.

Any insights?
